In the United States, Islam is now the third largest religion, after Christianity and Judaism. It is estimated that over 3.5 million Muslims live in the United States, about 1.1 percent of the total U.S. population.
In Taiwan last year, members of Taipei’s Indonesian Muslim community gathered safely outside Taipei Main Station for Eid-al Adha prayers. However, this year the holy day will have to be celebrated from home or online. When pandemic restrictions lift, Muslims living in or visiting Taiwan can take advantage of expanded prayer rooms in public places such as train stations, libraries, and tourist destinations Did you know, in August 2020 Taipei Beitou Health Management Hospital became the second halal-certified medical facility in Taiwan? Plover Cove is the hidden gem of Hong Kong!
Found in the new territories of Hong Kong, Plover Cove is home to ancient Walled Villages, vibrant forests, Hong Kong waterfalls and beautiful mountain top views.
This is the ultimate adventure travel location in Hong Kong, for any nature lovers living or travelling in Hong Kong, Plover Cove is a must visit.
I started this Hong Kong hiking adventure in Tai Mei Tuk Tsuen, a small village nestled under the beautiful Hong Kong mountains and right beside Plover Cove Reservoir.
Waking up early I began our Hong Kong hike, walking through amazing Hong Kong nature parks and Hong Kong mountain trails. The hiking trails in Hong Kong are beautiful and these trails found at Plover Cove were stunning. Home to magnificent views and full of secret gems.
I was able to find two secret Hong Kong waterfalls, exploring the nature side of Hong Kong for the whole day taking in the nature side of the New Territories!
Here are some of the main destinations I hiked to in this video:
- Tai Mei Tuk Family Walk
- Pat Sin Leng Nature Trail
- Bride's Pool Waterfall
- Shuen Wan
For those looking for an adventure in Hong Kong off the beaten path where you can find lots of hidden gems then Plover Cove found in the New Territories of Hong Kong is a must travel location for adventure lovers!
